Fox Festival Workshops @ The Fox Library

Join us for free workshops to make puppets and masks for the 4th annual Fox Festival Parade! Then march in the parade with a brass band on June 15 to kick off the Feast of the East.

The Parade is a celebration of the Fox Library, animals and the environment, community and imagination. Artist Sara Peattie will show you how to make a fox from recycled cardboard and decorate it with markers and fabric. Workshops are open to all ages; it’s a fun activity for families. Children 6 and under must be accompanied by an adult. It is not necessary to attend all workshops to make a mask, however if you want to work on a larger puppet, you may want to attend more than once.

Schedule:
Wednesday May 29, 4 to 7 pm
Sunday, June 2, 12:30 to 3:30 pm
Wednesday June 5, 6 to 8 pm
Sunday, June 9, 10 am to 12:30 pm
Wednesday June 12, 4 to 7 pm

Many thanks to the Friends of the Fox Library for funding these workshops, and to Arlington Public Art for support and coordination.
