NaNoWriMo 2017: Ready, set, write!

NaNoWriMo display table with poster, books, and handoutsToday is November 1, which means it is Day One of National Novel Writing Month! Our prep event with Lynette Benton in late October helped many writers to plan their novels.

Whether you attended that event, planned on your own, or didn’t plan at all and are just diving in, we at the library wish you the very best of luck! We hope you’ll come to the wrap-up event on December 5 to discuss your writing experience – share some of your best bits of writing, which strategies worked for you and which didn’t, and make plans for your manuscript.

Between now and then, remember that the library is a great place to write! We’ve got wi-fi, laptops to borrow, comfy chairs, books, magazines, newspapers, databases, and reference librarians eager to help. Go, WriMos!
