AIFF returns to Robbins Library with Monthly Film Series

The Arlington International Film Festival is returning to Robbins Library for a monthly film series. The 2016 season will feature 8 documentaries and 1 narrative film.

The series kicks off on Thursday June 16 with Picking up the Pieces, winner of the 2015 AIFF Best High School Documentary Short, and director Joshua Tebeau will be there to discuss his film. Picking up the Pieces explores the lives of Jewish child survivors of the Holocaust, asking “how did they live after they survived?”

Screening the same night will be Cavedigger, a look at the work of Ra Paulette who digs cathedral-like, ‘eighth wonder of the world’ art caves into the sandstone cliffs of northern New Mexico. Cavedigger was nominated for a 2014 Best Documentary Short Subject. Click over to watch the trailer
