the Mindfulness Origami Project at Robbins = Create your own origami

Have you ever wondered about the art of origami?  Is there a connection between mindfulness and origami?

Come to the new exhibit on the Little Table and give origami a try.  The display also contains books and dvds and cds (music and audiobooks.)   You can test out whether there actually is a connection between origami and mindfulness.

We have provided plenty of origami paper in various colors.  Once you’re done with your creation, you can display your finished (or unfinished) product on the origami tree, or just place somewhere on the table.

Some of the creations you will see are by our staff.

A caveat – the origami and mindfulness books at Robbins are super popular so there may not be many left, but you can always reserve some either online,  go to, call 781-316-3233, email: or stop by the Reference Desk.
