Tiny Houses are a Big Deal at Robbins Library

ALT+Library returns in 2016 to cover a big trend: tiny houses. ALT+Library is a series aimed at 20‐ to 30‐somethings who are looking to expand their community, have fun, and maybe learn something new.

The presentation, called “Tiny Houses: A Very Different Approach to Home Ownership” will be held on Thursday February 18 at 7:00 pm in the Robbins Library Community Room. Isa Bauer of Tiny House Northeast tells you everything you ever wanted to know about designing, building or buying a tiny house in New England.

Want to get started reading about this movement? We’ve put together a collection of ebooks available through the Commonwealth Ebook Catalog. All you need is a library card to get started. We started with Tiny House Living : Ideas For Building and Living Well In Less than 400 Square Feet which tours 11 homes and provides worksheets and exercises to help you hone in on your true needs and define personal goals.

Start reading, and we hope to see you on Thursday February 18!
