Two Resume Workshops for Adults in March

If you’re job hunting, or thinking about job hunting, or just want to polish your resume for whatever reason, good news! The library is offering two free resume workshops in March, where you can edit and polish an existing resume, or start from scratch. A half-hour presentation will be followed by time to work on your own resume with some hands-on help.

handshake_flicker_ccPlease bring your resume (paper or electronic) if you have one. Bring a laptop, too, if you can – either your own or one of the library’s, which you can check out with your library card on the first floor (ask at the reference desk if it’s your first time).

Class size is limited to 12. You can register for either workshop (they’re the same) through the calendar links below. Walk-ins are welcome if registration doesn’t fill or if there are no-shows (if you register in advance, please be on time!).

–> Register for the resume workshop on Friday, March 6, 3-4pm

–> Register for the resume workshop on Tuesday, March 10, 3-4pm

If you can’t register online, call or visit the library reference desk, and one of the librarians can sign you up with your name and e-mail address.
