Next Not-So-Young Adult Book Group Meeting

fangirlThanks to everyone who came to the NSYA book group on Monday. If you couldn’t make it, I hope you’ll still read Reality Boy, which we all agreed is awesome.

Our next meeting will be on March 10 at 7pm in the Robbins Library Conference Room. We’ll be discussing Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell.

Fangirl is about twin sisters Cath and Wren, who all through high school wrote fan fiction together. Wren has gotten away from fan fiction, and now that they’re heading off to college, she has also told Cath she doesn’t want to room together. Cath is now stuck with an unfriendly roommate whose boyfriend is always around, and instead of meeting new people and having fun she hides in her room writing fan fiction and worrying about her troubled father.

I have already read this book and it is awesome. We have copies set aside at the circulation desk. Hope to see you on March 10!
