We’ll be talking about Out of the Easy by Ruta Sepetys, which is about a 17-year-old named Josie who is the daughter of a prostitute. She lives in the French Quarter of New Orleans in 1950 and wants more than anything to get out of there and attend Smith College. It is really good, trust me.
There’s still time to read it before Monday and we have several copies left at the circulation desk. Hope to see you at the meeting next week!
