All the Light There Was may sound familiar to those who read this blog regularly; I mentioned it in a post about WWII novels in June.
Now, I’m delighted to announce two related events coming up in October. First, author Nancy Kricorian herself will be coming to Robbins Library to tell us more about the process of researching and writing the book, and about the unique perspective of Armenians in Paris during the occupation. Nancy will be here on Thursday, October 3, at 7pm., so mark your calendars now. This event is free and open to all.
Second, on Wednesday, October 16, the Staff Picks Book Group will be reading and discussing All The Light There Was. As always, all are welcome. We’ll meet in the Conference Room at Robbins at 7pm. You can reserve your copy now through the link in the previous sentence, or pick up a copy at the circulation desk a few weeks before the book group meeting.
