Arlington resident presents: Flannery O’Connor

flanneryoconnorWhat’s the connection between Flannery O’Connor and peacocks? Find out next week, when Arlington resident Frances Florencourt, a first cousin of famous Southern author Flannery O’Connor, comes to the library to speak about the author’s life and letters.

Join us for this presentation, which will include:

  • Video of O’Connor’s editors, including Robert Giroux, speaking about her and her work
  • Some of O’Connor’s personal letters to family read aloud
  • An overview of the author’s life, accompanied by a slide show of photographs

peacock“All About Flannery O’Connor” is Thursday, April 4, at 6:30pm in the Community Room at the Robbins Library. This event is free and open to all.
