A little light pollution. A lot of wonder.

If you can get past the very solemn “Moonlight Sonata” playing in the background, this is one cool time lapse video.  Basically, the International Space Station was taking trillions (my rock solid professional mathematical opinion) of photos as it was circling the earth.  What we get is a fine view of our glowing cities from space (a.k.a. light pollution), the Aurora Borealis, and lightning storms.  It’s awesome.
