Please mark your calendars for next Thursday, December 13, when the Staff Picks Book Group will be discussing the charming My Life in France, by Julia Child and Alex Prud’homme. This is Julia’s official autobiography, and it focuses on her time in France, beginning with her very first cooking experiments and covering her time at the famed Cordon Bleu cooking school and the creation of her bible of French cuisine, Mastering the Art of French Cooking.
We will be meeting in the 4th Floor Conference Room at Robbins at 7:00 p.m. And you still have oodles of time (eight whole days!) to read the book. You can still pick up a copy at the Robbins and Fox Circulation Desks.
And there will be croissants.
