First Thursday Movie Night

Happy November! There’s a lot going on today:

  • the start of NaNoWriMo for those tackling the challenge of writing a 50,000-word novel in a month
  • the second Staff Picks book club meeting, where Linda will lead a discussion of Lauren Groff’s Arcadia
  • and last but not least, it’s movie night* at the library!

*Hint: This month’s movie is in honor of the legendary Julia Child, who was born one hundred years ago this year, and whose famous cooking show, The French Chef, premiered fifty years ago. Child continues to inspire home cooks (and bloggers…) to this day.

Book club meets at 7pm in the fourth floor Conference Room; movie night begins at 6:30pm in the Community Room. It’s a great night to come to the library!
