Not-So-Young Adult / Arlington Reads Together

Next Monday, October 1, the Not-So-Young Adult book group will be meeting to discuss this year’s Arlington Reads Together book, The Fault in Our Stars by John Green.

The NSYA book group is for adults who like to read young adult books. We meet at the Starbucks in Arlington Center at 7pm. Usually we meet on the second Monday of the month, but due to the Columbus Day holiday we’re meeting a week early this time.

New members and drop-ins are always welcome. There are a few more copies of the book being held at the circulation desk at Robbins under the book group’s name, and there are also usually copies on the Community Reads display table. It’s a very quick read, so if you haven’t started it yet you still have time.

We’ll also be picking some books for the coming months, so bring your book suggestions.

I’m looking forward to our book discussion on Monday evening – see you there!

  1. What a great theme for a book club. I would love one of those where I live (Sydney, Australia). Discovered YA fiction when I went back to university for my high school teaching diploma and haven’t looked back.

Are you familiar with Forever Young Adult? (They are at: http://foreveryoungadult.com/) They’ve organized YA book groups for adults all over the world and there is one in Sydney! I believe their contact email is sydney-fya-book-club (at) googlegroups.com
