We talk a whole lot about reading at the Robbins (no surprise there). But this summer, we’d like to offer you the opportunity to listen to a story. The kids seem to like it, so we thought we’d tweak the program and try it out on adults (no stuffed animals, pictures or icky sticky hands that smell like maple syrup).
So. Escape from the regular lunchtime routine! This summer, the Robbins is opening its community room to you. Avoid the summer heat! Drop by and listen to a short story. Bring a bag lunch, sit in the air-conditioned community room, listen to a story, do some knitting (or another quiet activity). It’s a chill-zone for the already grown (and totally beats sitting in your car until your break is over…).
Interested in being a reader? We’re shooting for Tuesdays in July or August, between 12 and 1. We’ll provide the reading material. You provide the Golden Voice. Interested? Call Rebecca at 781.316.3226, or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
