New book group!

Because adult life doesn’t leave a lot of time or energy for slogging through 600-page literary prize-winners….

Because we know how many of you out there are secretly reading Pretty Little Liars or Twilight…

And because we don’t ever want you to apologize for your guilty reading pleasures…

The Robbins Library is very happy to bring you the Not-So-Young Adult book group!

We may be adults, but we will never outgrow books written for teens, possibly the most awesome fiction genre out there, amiright?

Dash and Lily's Book of Dares by Rachel Cohn and David Levithan

Now that that’s settled, here are the details: we’ll meet at the Starbucks in Arlington Center at 7pm on the second Monday of the month, starting on Feb 13.

Our first book – picked by Linda, your book group hostess – is Dash and Lily’s Book of Dares by Rachel Cohn and David Levithan. I’ve heard it’s great and can’t wait to read it! We’re holding copies of the book just for you at the Circulation Desk at the library.

Bring ideas for what you want to read next because we’ll spend part of our meeting choosing our next few books. Need ideas? Check out Forever Young Adult or YA Crush for reviews.

See you all on the 13th!
